Why We Built This Site
Minnesota public-access rules make many judicial records available, but the correct source depends on what is being sought. Dodge County District Court hears the county's state trial matters, and Dodge County Court Administration maintains the official register of actions, court file, calendar-related records, and certified-copy process. Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO) helps the public search eligible case, document, hearing, and judgment information remotely, but it does not replace the official record held by the court.
The distinction is useful in practice. A register entry can show that a filing or hearing occurred, while a restricted, sealed, older, or nonremote document may require a request to Court Administration. Minnesota Statutes section 485.07 describes the register and related docket records kept through court administration. The county's court calendar also serves a different purpose from the case file: it helps identify included settings, not every document or access limitation connected to a case.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference resource. It is not connected with a Minnesota court, Dodge County Court Administration, or any government agency. The following limits apply:
- We cannot obtain an official register of actions or court file for any person
- We cannot alter, continue, reset, or schedule a hearing or court date
- We cannot seal, amend, remove, or otherwise change a court case
- We cannot provide certified copies of a docket, order, judgment, or other court document
- We cannot offer legal advice or apply the facts of a particular case
- We cannot promise that a fee, telephone number, hearing setting, or public-access rule remains current at any moment
Only Dodge County Court Administration can provide an official or certified copy from a Dodge County District Court case. A remote MCRO result or public document download is not a certified court record.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes supplied by third-party providers. Those providers operate their own services and set their own prices. If use of a tool leads to a paid enrollment, this private resource may receive a referral fee. That arrangement helps support public access to the reference material, but it does not give this resource control over a provider's prices, terms, or results.
